Blanche en deux temps
Some photos feature Blanche alone, to better connect with her solitude, reflections, and unique beauty. Other photos feature the young girl within her, symbolizing her childhood and vulnerability, and finally, we can see them together and contemplate the adult woman protecting and supporting herself.
Through creating this series, I wanted to convey a message: that albinism is a difference to be celebrated, a richness that deserves to be protected and honored. The series encourages self-love, acceptance of one's own differences, and the protection of one's inner child. It invites us to see beyond physical appearance and connect with the essence of the human being.
Isabelle Paradis is a multidisciplinary artist, who was born and practices her art mainly in Montreal, Quebec (Canada).
She graduated from Marsan photography college in Montreal. Her artistic career started very early. From the age of 9, Isabelle has accumulated an important background as an actress, model and professional dancer. These life experiences allow her to have a particularly rich knowledge of the artistic milieu and of human expression, in many of its forms.
Her professional background allows her today to put her passion, creativity and great intuition at the service of her art in order to script unique and highly cinematographic editorial stories. In the studio or on location, Isabelle draws on her experience and her expertise, to make us travel and appreciate the beauty of her subject who, thanks to her ability to put him in confidence, manages to open up to her in all vulnerability. This adds enormously to the poetic and artistic character of her works. Besides this, her work ethic and thoroughness make Isabelle Paradis an exceptional photographer.
“For each photo, I want to reveal my subject. I strive to capture the essence of every being, so that they touch, captivate and inspire in all sincerity. By its personality, its authenticity, its shape, its movement.
This is when the image seems to come alive. "
