Gustavo Jononovich
Gustavo Jononovich photographer gustavojononovich.com Gustavo Jononovich was born in 1979 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his studies in photography in 2002 at the Andy Goldstein School of Creative Photography, where he graduated as a professional photographer. The development of his work has been determined by his critical stance towards contemporary consumption habits and the deterioration of the environment. He explores the language of photography, as a tool, in its various forms.

His work has received international recognition, including the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation grant, the Sony World Photography Awards, Picture of the Year Latam, RM Ibero-American Photobook Contest, and Environmental Photographer of the Year. His work has been exhibited in various shows, including venues such as Union Station in Toronto, Canada, Havas Hall gallery in Paris, Les Rencontres D’Arles festival at Parc des Atelier, Ikono gallery in Brussels, Huit gallery in Arles, Somerset House in London, Marché Bonsecours in Montreal, Lumix festival in Hannover, Germany, Photofest Querataro festival in Mexico, and 3 Bedfordbury gallery in London. His projects have been published in The New York Times, Canadian Art Magazine, Newsweek Magazine, Private Photo Review, Latphoto Magazine, Revista Brando, burn magazine, and the Nieman Reports Harvard University, among others.
